Despina Hadjidemetri Kara, has joined our Law Firm in 2014. She is a Partner and the Head of Operations at our Law Firm. As the Head of our Litigation Department, Despina specializes in Family, Administrative, and Banking Law. Also, her expertise extends to matters involving Insolvency, Bankruptcy, and Contract Law, showcasing her extensive knowledge in these areas.
She also lectures regularly at the School of Law of the University of Nicosia since 2012 and she is the author of the book “Introduction to the Cyprus’ Civil Procedure Laws” published in 2019 by Hippassus Legal Publications.
Despina graduated with a law degree from the University of Democritus University of Thrace and with a LLM from the University of Bristol.
She is a registered member of Cyprus Bar Association and of Famagusta Bar Association, of which she has been a former member.
